Would be nice to have double dummy results.
Great to have play by play. On Board 1, if playing Diamonds and postponing the finesse, why not play the Ace instead of ducking? (Can still take finesse later. Might even drop the stiff King on the left, though very unlikely on the bidding. If entries are the issue, maybe better not to postpone?)
You get the chance the JT are onside by ducking. Also if the heart honors were actually split, west would have to break spades for you which would be very welcome. Jumping up with the ace of diamonds also opens the diamond suit up in a totally different way. I just don't see any realistic advantage to playing ace. Singleton king is not happening.

The 9 is in dummy. They will need to play the king to win the trick.
Only if you lead the 9 (Gavin didn't) and East has JT87 and didn't cover?
The opponents lead diamonds if you played it like I did. (win the heart and lead a club). They lead a low diamond back and you are suggesting rising with the Ace?

Enjoyed it! I had heard of mini bridge but didn’t know the strategy. I see now that part scores should be played at the one level! Love hearing the way you think through hands so logically. Is the mini bridge concept mainly for beginning players? Thanks so much, Gavin.
This was my first time playing mini bridge. I enjoyed playing it and listening to your thought process. On 4, I didn't take the diamond and discard the spade. It is always a treat to listen to you.
Missed the inference from the lead on 4, so I won the CA (thought East would have covered Q if they had K) and tried a ruffing finesse later. Normally I don't think minibridge is a good balance of decisions / effort (you always should do the analysis for all strains, and often pick the sad 1-level) but I'm happy to play it sometimes to play the same hands as you and hear the thought process!
Good follow up video. Logic was very helpful. I bet no one else bid 4♠ on #3. No problem, just a miss click. The funny part was when I was pulling trump and someone put a small spade and somehow they won the trick. I thought I broke your system. That’s when I realized the computer was playing in spades and I was playing 4♥. This format will be very helpful.

Missed the opportunity to see how I played the hand but liked the fact that it was only 4 boards. The next time i will try to remember the play. Listening to your thought process is always very informative. Hope to start analyzing while playing.

Love the mini-bridge and the post-mortem. Would like to be able navigate around better and to be able to go back and review how I (and others) played it.
Hi - thanks for the opportunity to try the 4 boards. I didn’t see your instructions before I did the min-bridge, which was unfortunate as I found it a little confusing. I didn’t watch the post-mortem yesterday after I played, so tried it today. I couldn’t watch as the video image disappeared. Not sure why, I was within the time. I would like to be able to navigate the site better, be able to review what I did and undo a card if I misclicked (which I did).
