We are an online study group of four looking to expand by one or two. We are intermediate players (400 to 1400 MP) that are working through the advanced Wolpert series together. We have completed courses on NT and 2/1. Up next is 2-way new minor forcing to be followed by Major Suit Response Structure. In a two week period, we will review the Wolpert lecture on the subject and have four (45 minute) practice sessions on the current subject or a review subject – Lebensohl anyone? In addition to “cheat” sheets we have a data bank of over 1000 practice boards on BBO categorized by subject. When practicing, you will have audio connection via a zoom link. We play as a team in Swiss team competitions in addition to partnering with one another in pairs games. We are not critical of one another and provide a “safe” learning environment. Mistakes happen, laugh when they happen, learn from them and move on is our modus operendi. Some of us are into self flaggelation and have wet noodles handy for that purpose. Hello all, I live in Dayton, OH and am looking for a partner that wants to develop a partnership based around these methods. I start playing a bit while in grad school in 2015, but didn't really start playing a lot until recently. I have approximately ~400 MP with ~260 being earned since July of last year. I have a few semi-regular partnerships that have implemented some aspects of these methods, but can't attend many of the in-person games around here so it's difficult to build a partnership with more nuanced agreements. I would love to find someone to play online with in the evenings with the goal of eventually playing in some tournaments. I've completed all of the courses flagged with a difficulty of 4 or higher. Hi all, I'm looking for a partner to play the Tuesday summer duplicate games and more. I've taken all the lessons/practice sets from Gavin and can play the entire Master Series system. More about me: I live in Chicago. My BBO name is itoen. I won't make it to Providence but hope to make Phoenix. I learned bridge over the pandemic (following Rob/Gavin on YouTube for a while, then took their lessons) and am pretty good at robot bridge (top 300 in the robot NABC). I am looking for some partners for Providence (I live 30 min. away in Newport) and online that are willing to start playing some and later adopting much of Masterclass bidding series . I have take 100% of the lessons on Wolpertbridge.com and watch them over and over. Also 100% of the Modern Bidding Series with Gavin & Rob. My situtation: 1) Been playing Dulicate just over 3 years 2) about 650 ACBL points, currently trying to stay below 750 so I can play in the under 750 Gold Rush events thru the summer. 3) need 20 Gold, 20 Sliver and about 100 points to reach LM. 4) I play daily online with some regular partners that aren't progression fast enough for my taste. 5) I am semi-retired after a 30 year career as a Head Golf Professional at a private country club. 6) Just a note I am a diehard....last online Gold Week I played in 38 Virual Club tournaments in 7 days, then took the following week off.
