You are welcome to include any information you think will help find an appropriate partner. You can define your level, which lessons you have taken, what system you like to play, where you are from and/or what time of day you are available.
Rather than sharing email addresses and phone numbers, we recommend using your BBO name and starting conversation over there. Its never a good idea to publicly put your email address or phone number on the internet, unless you want a lot of spam!

Oops. There was a but in there. I stopped playing at the only club in NYC, and started working again part time. So I really can’t. I hope you find somebody!
I would like to play in Astoria, Queens, NYC, in the regional on May 22. Is anyone interested and available? I play Gavin lite, and I am just shy of 400 points. I might be able to be convinced to play on the weekend too

Hi. My BBO name is brusteph. I am an intermediate player who has been improving via a lot of work. I am committed to Gavin's system and have integrated the majority of his components into my game. How well? It varies, but I am a solid intermediate, so not by leaps and bounds. I have over 500 masterpoints accrued over a fairly short time in bridge years (the opposite of dog years). I need about two dozen points to reach life master, then I will not worry about points again, just improvement. I am looking for someone who wants to partner using Gavin's system to get better (I have a few and we try to do this in concert as a team). Another games is coming up on Tuesday, February 21, 2023 and I am looking for a partner. If anyone is interested please let me know. I can be reached at transferadvance@gmail.com. (I have purchased 18 of Gavin's lessons so far. My idea is to hook up with like minded players who like his system and approach so that we can study/practice together and play and use what we have learned. It is the best method I know of to get this arcane stuff to stick. I think there is a way of setting hands up on BBO to practice concepts, just do not know how to do it yet.)

brusteph (on BB) Hi. I’ve played for about six years and am a solid intermediate. With plenty of discretionary time, I want to see how good I can become. I use Gavin’s lessons and study independently with Josh Donn. I’m having lots of fun and want to find a likeminded player or two to pair with. I’m 65. With my lack of experience (and questionable talent), my ceiling probably isn’t very high, but I plan on it being an enjoyable journey.

Hi! I have taken basically every class Gavin has given, most with Hazel, and most of Rob's classes. I go to Steve Conrad's almost every morning. My problem is I do not have anyone to practice any of what I have learned in a systematic basis. I have introduced some things to partners, but then it is piecemeal and doesn't work very well. Hi everybody, my BBO name is socolife. Gavin’s Intermediate lessons seem just about the right level for me. I play 2/1 and most, but not all, of the conventions in B Seagrams ’25 Conventions’ book. Additionally, I play Smolen, Jordan, Puppet, Meckwell, etc. My favorite part of the game is defense and working together with partner. I prefer UDA, std ct., std (modern) leads. My focus is on improving my own play as well as our partnership rather than focusing on an arbitrary number of master points (knowing that master points come with good bridge experience).

My BBO name is ruleof20. I have taken several of Gavin's lessons. (most in the Master section) but do not consider myself advanced as per bbo's definition. As such consider myself as 'intermediate' I am not driven by masterpoints (160) but rather the pure love of the game itself. I am seeking partners who play most but not all of what is considered 'Expert Standard' who abide by zero tolerance. standard defense, 3rd and long leads. I live in southern Ontario

Hi. My BBO name is oberlka. I also love Hazel and Gavin's Intermediate lessons and sometimes the Master classes. I have about 735 master points and am working toward 1000 for Silver status. But it doesn't really matter when I get the points - I just enjoy the game and I learn something new from every class I take with Gavin and HazeI. I am on EDT for the next two weeks but will move to MDT (Jackson Hole) for the summer on June 21. Afternoons (Mountain time) will be best for me, although I can play some mornings to pair up with East Coast players who want a midday game.
