Would there be a way to hide the spoiler info located below the video? The Capitalizing on Opening Leads" info here kind of gives it away. Many sites black the text out till you want to see it. Or maybe put the info in the first comment instead of below the video. Would be harder to see if it was lower on the page.
Hi Gavin, this is great, and I have scheduled myself to start going through all the hands. I noticed on this hand, that some one made an extra trick - +1 instead of just 3 spades. Is there a way to see how this person made +1 with the same lead of J of clubs? Thank you.
Hey Kelly, No there is no way to see. Unfortunately the claim button doesn't check to see if you actually have a good claim. So you can claim all the tricks at trick 1. Whatever line of play I describe in the video will be the maximum number of tricks you can take.

I absolutely love it! I can see this as a "one-a-day" subscription, or maybe a "5 or 10-pack" of hands at a one-time fee. I would also suggest that the title of the hand be neutral, so that it doesn't give any clue about how to deal with the problem. The hands could be categorized by problem difficulty: beginner, intermediate, advanced, expert. Great concept, love your passion and innovation!
I had the thought that maybe it would be a good idea to let the students themselves rate the difficulty after playing the hand. It's so difficult for me to know how difficult the hands are.
Maybe you could use your own rating system: if a player has taken all your fundamental classes, can they solve the problem? Then it's a beginner problem. If they've taken all the intermediate classes as well, can they solve it? If so, it's an intermediate problem. If they need the advanced classes, then it's an advanced problem. Just a suggestion, easier said than done, I'm sure...

Great feature ! But, listening with my Samsung Tablet 10 A, the sound was very soft, low. No way to increase the volume?
Yeah, very quiet. I had to turn my headphones up quite a lot compared to normal use or even Gavin's other videos, which also means getting more static.
Sorry someone mentioned in my last video that my voice was crackly so I tried reducing my audio output by 5-10% but I guess that was too much.
