#7. You mention that redouble promises diamond support (as well as 10 HCP). Support isn't promised for the same bid with a major opening. Is this just true for minor openings? With Crisscross jumps, is there a way to warn of a singleton?
Maybe I missed it, but 1♦ X XX does not promise support, and I don't see where that was said.

He doesn't say redouble shows diamond support. He says if you don't play another form of a good raise over the double, you have to start with redouble on good hands with a fit. That doesn't mean redouble shows a fit - you still do it on good hands without a fit too. If you redouble with a fit, just show your fit on the next round.
