Hi - on board 5, the bidding went P (1C) 1H (X) 2H (P) P (3C) … Can we infer from west’s 3C bid after their negative double that they have 5 clubs and 4 spades and that as east did not raise the inferred spades, that east likely has 4+ clubs so opponents have a nine card fit and we should compete to 3H by law of total tricks ? If this is right, should it be North or South that competes ?
The opponents might easily have only 8 clubs for this auction. Responder can compete with 4. It's not safe to assume they have 9 or 10 clubs for sure. Here, neither north nor south seems to have a hand to compete further.

On board 2, in 4♠ with the A♥ lead, should W drop the J♥ under the A♥ to let S wonder if N led the 9 from 95?
That's a very clever idea, and probably worth a try. Even if it costs a heart trick because your king gets ruffed out, that is likely not to matter since if south has the ace of diamonds they were getting another ruff.
