B3, you said that over 3S by advancer, 4C would be in support of spades. Is this only because you are bidding above 3N. Usually a cuebid only shows support if it is your first bid. Is it still your first bid when you doubled?
Because there needs to be a way for the doubler to invite slam with a fit. Without a fit but a hand strong enough to bid again and go beyond 3NT, the doubler almost always will just have a suit to bid.
Hand 6 note - if replaying this in the tool if after S DBL, N 2C, if South bids 2S, West bids 3C and for some reason North bids 4S (which gets set). If you bid up the line DBL - 2D - west passes, north bids 2H, south 2S, then North invites with 3S and you can pass the makeable contract.
Once you deviate from the suggested auction, the robots have minds of their own. We are working on fixing these little details but haven't built the tools for us to edit the robot actions yet. Thanks for reporting.
Hi Gavin, I tried the practice function of the software. It is great, but I'm not sure why Robot North decided to punish me in B4 by bidding 3NT over (1♣)-p-(1♠)-X-(XX)-2♦-(2♠)-3♦, or does the 3♦ show a better hand? Another weird thing about this hand is that East doubled my 4♦ (after doubling 3NT and I ran) but West pulled to 4♠, which I did not double because I was too busy celebrating escaping unscathed.
Yes I guess the Robot thought you were power doubling. They aren't so smart. We are learning how to program the robots to do more than just our suggested auction but for now whenever you deviate from the suggested auction, the robots are on their own. These duplicate game practice sets are best done with groups of 4 where the robots are not part of the game.

B7. Great tip about super accept . Same way, what do you do if you open 1NT with 2 little hearts and partner transfer to that suit? accept the transfer and play in a horrible 7 card trump? Thanks!
Opener always accepts the transfer. The only exception is when we super accept. It will always be better to play in that 7 card fit than in NT.
Board 3: Should South have Passed instead of preempting, would you open West with 2♣ and if so how would you suggest auction to then proceed? Thanks!
Its not my style to open 2♣ with 3 suited hands. Could you miss a game by opening 1♥? Sure. But 3 suited hands don't bid out well when your first bid eats a level of bidding. I would just open 1♥. 1♥-1♠ 4♣- East has a weird hand thats not amazing for the splinter but at the same time its pretty easy to visualize a slam with partner having 19 points outside of clubs. The problem is east doesnt have a control in either red suit to let partner know. So I could easily see east sign off in 4♠ and west giving up.
