On board 5, is there a way to invite with the north hand, that is is X maximal here showing an invitational 3S rather than a competitive 3S ?
Hi Gavin, You note, on board 4, that the south hand is a little light for 2H (H and minor) here but would be perfect in pass-out seat. Does the fact that the 1NT is by third hand affect this judgement? I feel I’m a bit more willing to poke a bid in here than I would of 1NT were 1st or 2nd seat.
