On board 2, could opening leader infer from the auction that the opponents don’t have a heart control so partner must have the king or, as the 4D bid was non serious, would east have passed 4S even with the HK? Initially I thought the former and led a heart but on reflection think the latter is true so leading CJ is clearly better.
You can't infer that. Responder is likely to have signed off because they know a club control is missing. I would lead the jack of clubs.
