Hi, on board 4 after 1D (1H) X (XX) 1S could North not compete to 2C ? N would put EW with an 8 card spade fit so partner must have exactly 8 cards in the minors - with W opening a diamond, it seems very likely that NS have an 8 card club fit. As S actually has 5 clubs, S can then compete to 3C over 2S - is that a reasonable action here ?
Board 5, if N bids 4H instead of 3H, would you bid 4S as E?
Just wondering why there were 6 robot pairs playing
Some players registered but did not show up when the game started, so we replaced them with robots in case they come back later in the first round. And then some players left in the middle of the game, and I replaced them with robots. So, we ended up with many robot pairs today.
