Bd #6. Had N/S been vulnerable or N/S vulnerable and E/W NV, how do you assess whether bidding 3S is still appropriate?
It's a very good question. You want to tighten up just a little when you are vulnerable. 3S is still a weak bid but not a worthless hand. If 3S feels like too much with this hand when vul you can always still bid 2S. It is less effective, but safer.
On bd #3, on an auction when opponents are silient 1S-2H, 3H is 3S a control bid?
Yes that is what I agree with my partners. Thats one I would talk about with every partner I play with.
